The crux of brexit negotiations

Reading the British and French news during the last few months in relation to brexit negotiations it appeared that the issue of british and french fishermen zones of exploitation was all they talked about and could not agree on.

Now that brexit ‘got done’ both british and french fishermen are discontent and dubious about their rights representation by their respective governments.

Listening to a french radio station this morning, on my way to work, announcing the upcoming meeting between fishermen and relevant french authorities two questions popped in my head:

1) Did anyone ask the fish? Do they prefer to be converted to ‘Bouillabesse’ or ‘Fish & chips’?

2) Have fishermen and politicians read Douglas Adams’ book?
